The innovative Winkhaus security shootbolt system easyPilot Cobra forms part of the segment of cross-market compatible and internationally successful easyPilot turn window fittings.

With easyPilot Cobra developed mainly for the British market, we present a tried-and-tested fitting system, which has won awards for its burglary-resistant equipment and offers attractive added value.

The compact Winkhaus security shootbolt system easyPilot Cobra consists of a robust, reverse action locking drive, connecting rails which are easy to connect and a cover plate for fixing the gear case and connecting rails.
This product segment is rounded off with locking parts with mini ventilation.

Drives and connecting rails

easyPilot Cobra is suitable for window profiles with standard fitting groove or flat fitting groove.

  • Reverse action drive with 22 mm backset and 15 mm stroke path
  • Labelled connecting rails for positioning above and below the drive box
  • Connecting rails with shootbolt throw of 10 or 14 mm
  • Integrated profile locking bolts in 7 or 9 mm structural height made from forged steel

Burglary resistance

  • Side wall supports make it harder to turn and bend in the shootbolt area during an attempted burglary
  • The easyPilot Cobra system’s burglar protection features have also been given the "Police Preferred Specifications" award
  • Successfully tested according to BS7950 : 1997 security Standard

The variable use of a wide range of different connecting rails enables individual windows with freely definable sash heights between 330 and 1,350 mm to be made.

Connecting rails in four different lengths

  • For connecting easyPilot Cobra reverse action drives
  • For standard fitting groove with 12 mm depth
  • For standard fitting groove with 6 mm depth
  • Rod design 7 x 7 mm
  • Rod for easy run-in and optimal security on both sides with 45° angle
  • Versions with mushroom head locking bolts in 7 or 9 mm structural height; with pressure adjustment
  • Shootbolt throw (connection) 14 mm as standard; can also be adjusted to 10 mm*

 

* Precondition:
Before cutting the connecting rail to length, apply slight pressure to the connecting rod and engage in "10 mm position"
